LESSER INTELLIGENCE |
The Fishmaster of Slightly Lesser Intelligence (Kevin Graves):
Never
seen without his life jacket and stupid expression, the Fishmaster of
Slightly Lesser Intelligence was born to a couple of "pinheads" in a
traveling side show circus. As a young child he became friends with the
other Fishmaster, but disappeared during a circus tour in Mexico. Years
later the other Fishmaster took a vacation south of the border and found
him running with a pack of feral Chihuahuas. After a tearful reunion,
the Fishmaster of Slightly Lesser Intelligence joined his friend to
become an official Fishmaster.
It has been noted that the Fishmaster of Slightly Lesser Intelligence seems to get dumber each show, but in episode #033, Back To School, it was determined that he is not getting dumber, but has had momentary surges of intelligence in past episodes. One theory is that lack of Fishmaster Brew combined with jerky treats for dogs creates a strange chemical reaction which produces temporary reasoning skills. The surviving family tree of the Fishmaster of Slightly Lesser Intelligence is vague. |
|
The Other Fishmaster (Carl Edge):
The Fishmaster was raised in an
undisclosed location in the deep south. Early in life he knew he wanted
to be a master fisherman so when he graduated sixth grade he left his
home to study with the Master Fishmaster and learn the secrets of this
ancient art. While rarely catching fish he still often refers to the
teachings of the Master Fishmaster and the written word of the Master
Master Fishmasters.
The Fishmaster often refers to his large family back home including references to his somewhat shady father (who was responsible for doing in several family members) and an 'evil' twin separated at birth. |
|
Brother Bill (Carl Edge):
One of the few family members to appear on
camera, Brother Bill is primary known for having most of what he says
'bleeped' out.
|
|
Uncle/Brother Bill:
Another family member seen in one episode where
the Fishmasters join Brother Bill and Uncle/Brother Billy for an old
fashioned sing along.
|
|
Country Dick Montana:
The late Country Dick of The Beat Farmers
appeared in an episode where one of the Fishmasters claimed him as a
long lost cousin.
|
|

and new personality. He first appeared as the roving reporter in the 1995 Downtown Christmas Parade.
|
|
The TD (Carl Edge):
This never seen voice of the master control
operator and/or technical director is often responsible for interrupting
the broadcast of Fishmasters. The voice of the station announcer and
disgruntled boss is often heard as well.
|
|
Lulu:
This never seen on camera character is the frightening wife of
one of the Fishmasters. The Other Fishmaster wishes she looked as good as the
bear in the picture.

The Antagonists | |
|
The Big Fat Guy (Bruce Sorensen):
Originally appearing in episode #003,
Snake Lake, the Big Fat Guy has been tipped like a cow, pelted by rocks
and generally harassed by the Fishmasters every time he has appeared.
appearing in more episodes than any other guest character, it has been
revealed that the Big Fat Guy has been married several times, has short
term memory due to being hit in the head with rocks one too many times
and seems to have an endless supply of offspring (Bruce Sorensen also
plays the role of the Big Fat Guy's security guard brother).
|
BIG BOY |
The Big Fat Guy's Big Boy (Hugh Cherry):
A larger version of his dad,
the Big Fat Guy's son has had the same bad luck with the Fishmasters as
his father.
|
|
Little Bubba (Keegan Graves):
Another child of the Big Fat Guy and one
of the few Fishmasters characters with a name, Little Bubba has been hit
with rocks, nearly drowned, kidnapped and trapped under his older
brother in a 'cow tipping' incident gone wrong.
|
OTHER CHILDREN |
Big Fat Guy's Other Children:
The other children who have appeared on screen include a
thirteen year old bikini clad daughter with a crush on the
Fishermasters, a son resembling the inbred banjo pickin' kid from
Deliverance, a free-spirited voluptuous blonde daughter who enjoys
skinny dipping, a pretty brunette daughter with a very limited
vocabulary, a streetwise teenaged daughter, a long haired thinner
version of the Big Fat Guy and a feisty little redhead who is
incidentally married to her brother, a skinny, younger vision of the Big
Fat Guy.
|
|
The Agent (Mark Libby):
In earlier episodes the Agent was responsible
for replacing the Fishmaster of Slightly Lesser Intelligence with a
'beautiful girl in a bikini', adding Nannymaid to the show to make it
more heartwarming, adding a professional angler to give the show more
credibility, and replacing both Fishmasters when one suffered what he
thought was a heart attack. The Agent never paid the Fishmasters,
disappeared with the profits of the programs and has not been seen
since.
|
|
Nannymaid (Robin Ellis):
While Nannymaid sickened one Fishmaster, the
other befriended this Julie Andrews wannabe featured in an episode
produced in a lame attempt to make the show more heartwarming.
|
|
Todd (Todd Bauer):
Todd Bauer played himself in an episode where the
Fishmasters abandoned him in a remote area to fend for himself against
shotgun toting hillbillies. he later became a fugitive from the law
determined to 'pay back' the Fishmasters for ruining his life.
|
|
Bikini Girl (Rena Riffel):
Bikini Girl (Bambi) replaced the Fishmaster of
Slightly Lesser Intelligence and went on to become the star of
Fishmasters before being abandoned in a remote area. Bikini Girl later
resurfaced when she ran into Todd and the Fishmasters after surviving
several months in the wild.
|
|
The Boat Renter (Alan Cheng):
This exasperated bait shop and motor boat
rental operator has had his boats lost, blown up and sunk by the hapless
Fishmasters.
|
|
Don Perrion (Ernie Rodriquez):
This mobster character and his entourage
originally appeared in a Fishmaster episode in which the Fishmaster
became involved in a FBI sting (the Fishmasters still fear the
retribution of the FBI and Don Perrion has sworn to someday 'get those
Fishmasters').
|
|
Acidolphilus:
This strange, masked 'professional torture guy' was
originally hired by Don Perrion to extract the recipe for Fishmaster
Brew From the Fishmasters.
|
|
The Husband (Norm Jackson):
This husband and father has a vendetta
against the Fishmaster who unknowingly seduced both his daughter and
wife.
|
|
The Pro (Michael Parks):
Brought on the show to bring it more
credibility, the Pro was left by the Fishmasters on a 'fishless' lake
determined not to give up until he pulled one in.
|
|
Camo Man:
This camoflaged character just 'doesn't appreciate the
Fishmasters type of humor.
