SAN LUIS OBISPO - Studio G has revived the county's first electronic "newspaper". Featuring daily news, sports & weather from around the nation and the globe. Local & regional news will highlight the publication as well as local arts and prose. Local residents are asked to submit any work or editorial material. "With the advent of online services and a global information network, we felt it was time to bring San Luis Obispo County into the information age with the release of this electronic journal" said Aron Kahn, world wide web graphical interface designer and owner of Studio G. He continued, "We'll have daily news and weather along with local news and highlights just like any other traditional paper."
Without the limitations of production budgets and printing equipment, the publication can produce issues with a much smaller budget than traditional papers. "We truly are a 'green' paper. We cut out many polluting factors associated with paper technology. And distribution is instantaneous and requires no spent fossil fuels (except for electricity) and excess labor for delivery" stated Mr. Kahn. "It benefits the community and it's an exciting venture for us."
